2018 SaskTel Pass, Punt & Kick Provincial Winners

By Football Saskatchewan, 10/23/18, 1:30PM CST

24 winners from across the province have been named our provical champs!

In the fall of each year, Football Saskatchewan stages an annual Kids Pass, Punt and Kick Competition. This competition is a grassroots skills program that is sponsored by SaskTel and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Run by Football Saskatchewan, it provides children with the opportunity to learn basic football skills and a chance to compete within their own age group on a province wide basis. The competitions are held in separate divisions for boys and girls in four different age groups: eight and under, ten and under, twelve and under, and fourteen and under. The competition is comprised of three events: Passing, Punting and Kicking.

Youngsters have the opportunity to advance through three levels of competition - Local, Regional, and the Provincial Championship. The 2018 provincial championships were held on Sunday, October 21st in both Regina & Saskatoon. Out of nearly 400 participants at provincials, Twenty-four (12 boys and 12 girls) competed and are the 2018 provincial champions! These winners will be in Regina on October 27th to be presented with plaques at the pre-game show of the Saskatchewan Roughriders vs BC Lions game. Below is a list of our 2018 Provincial Champions!
