In the fall of each year, Football Saskatchewan stages the annual SaskTel Kids Pass, Punt and Kick Competition. This competition is a grassroots skills program that is sponsored by SaskTel and the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation. Run by Football Saskatchewan, it provides children with the opportunity to learn basic football skills and a chance to compete within their own age group on a province wide basis. The competitions are held in separate divisions for boys and girls in four different age groups: eight and under, ten and under, twelve and under, and fourteen and under. The competition is comprised of three events: Passing, Punting and Kicking.

Participants have the opportunity to advance through three levels of competition - local, regional, and the provincial championship. The twenty-four 2023 provincial winners (12 boys and 12 girls) have been invited to Regina to be presented with plaques at the final Saskatchewan Roughriders home football game on October 21st, 2023.
