On behalf of the organizing committee of both the U17 & U19 Team Saskatchewan squads. I want to first congratulate the U19's on winning the gold medal & being Saskatchewan's first ever National Champions! Secondly, I congratulate the U17's for their inaugural performance at the Football Canada Cup. This has set the bar for future U17 teams at the competition. Football Saskatchewan would like to thank all players, coaches, trainers, equipment personnel and parents for your participation in the 2009 Football Canada Cup. The organizing committee appreciates the sacrifices everyone had to make to attend the practices and/or the tournament in Saskatoon, SK. Thanks for representing your school, province and yourselves with the utmost class during the entire event. Good luck to all players with their respective programs in the summer/fall!
