The Roughrider Bowl is an intensive two and a half day camp to support the development of Saskatchewan's top returning high school football players. Saskatchewan's elite coaches and Football Saskatchewan representatives will invite the top players from the eight regional Skill Identification camps to the Roughrider Bowl. The intent of the Ed Henick Senior Bowl game is to showcase the best high school football players who have used their last year of eligibility in a North, South all-star game.Each year during the end of March a selection camp is held in Regina and Saskatoon where over 150 athletes attend each camp to display their athletic abilities. From the first selection camps, 75-80 players will be chosen to attend a full contact tryout camp in Regina or Saskatoon. The weekend tryout/training camps will consist of four practices, two Saturday and two Sunday. Players will be evaluated by the Senior Bowl coaching staff and will be notified after if they will be representing one of the Senior Bowl teams. The game features the top 45 graduating high school players from the Northern and Southern parts of the province. This game is a showcase for all scouts, coaches, players and fans that love and have contributed to the game of football in Saskatchewan.
THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED ON THE MONDAY OF THE MAY LONG WEEKEND, the 24th, with the players reporting to Saskatoon on Friday, May 21st, for two a day practices on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. The Senior Bowl Game is Monday, May 24th, at 1pm at Griffiths Stadium, Saskatoon, SK. Tickets are available at the gate on gameday.

Every spring, Football Saskatchewan conducts eight regional skill identification camps. These camps are for high school football players currently in grades nine, ten and eleven and occur throughout the Province to ensure all players have a chance to participate. Through these camps, Football Saskatchewan serves a dual purpose of introducing, teaching, and enhancing fundamental football skills while identifying the athletic ability and skills of the participants.
Following the completion of all the camps, the elite coaches and Football Saskatchewan representatives will select the athletes to attend the Roughrider Bowl, June 11, 12, 13 in Regina. The goal is to create a competitive environment and a successful camp for all those involved.

2010 Annual NFL/CFL Investors Group Coaches Clinic |

Football Saskatchewan’s Annual NFL/CFL Investors Group Coaches Clinic will be taking place in Saskatoon, SK on April 16th and 17th. The clinic will feature approximately 9 hours of Football Instruction, Clinic Note Packages, Friday Evening Coaches Social, Saturday Luncheon, Door Prizes and Equipment Displays.
The clinic will take place at Bishop James Mahoney, 231 Primrose Dr, Saskatoon, SK. Registration will take place at the school beginning at 5:00 and concluding at 6:30. Remember to pre-register by April 1st for your reduced rate of $75 or pay a higher fee of $100 after the deadline.
