Pass, Punt, and Kick Presentations

In the fall of each year, Football Saskatchewan stages an annual Kids Pass, Punt and Kick Competition. This competition is a grassroots skills program that is sponsored by SaskTel and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Run by Football Saskatchewan it provides children with the opportunity to learn basic football skills and a chance to compete within their own age group on a province wide basis. For the first time ever the competitions were held in separate divisions for boys and girls in three different age groups: ten and under, twelve and under, and fourteen and under.

Football Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Roughriders would like to thank SaskTel for their sponsorship and their ongoing assistance.

The Purpose
The purpose of this skills competition is to promote minor football in the province. It is run under the Football Saskatchewan in cooperation with schools and recreation departments throughout the province. The competition is comprised of three events: Passing, Punting and Kicking.

Youngsters have the opportunity to advance through three levels of competition, Local, Regional, and the Provincial Championship. The eighteen provincial winners (9 boys and 9 girls) will be invited to Regina, expenses paid, to be presented with plaques at the pre-game show of the final Saskatchewan Roughriders home football game.
