Harassment Policy
Football Saskatchewan is committed to providing a sport and work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
Harassment can take many forms: verbal, physical, visual or psychological.
It can include, but is not limited to:
- written or verbal abuse or threats
- the display of racial, sexist, or other offensive material
- unwelcome remarks, jokes, comments, innuendo or taunting about a person's looks, body, attire, age, intellectual ability, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation
- leering, suggestive or obscene gestures
- behaviour which undermines self esteem or diminishes performance
- unwelcome flirtations, advances or invitations
- unwanted physical contact
- physical or sexual assault (these are criminal offenses and the police should be contacted
Football Saskatchewan encourages the reporting of all incidents of harassment. To that end, Football Saskatchewan has set up a harassment committee to serve in a neutral, unbiased capacity and to receive complaints, assist in informal resolution of complaints and investigate formal written complaints.
If you or someone you know needs further assistance, please do not hesitate to call either Football Saskatchewan Offices:
