Football Saskatchewan's Online Registration Announcement
Football Saskatchewan is pleased to announce that has moved towards online registration for all of its programs. This program will be in full effect for all Football Saskatchewan programs for players (Senior Bowl, Provincial Team, Skill ID Camps, Roughrider Bowl), coaches (Annual Coaches Clinic, NCCP Coaching Clinics), leagues (Affiliation, MAP Grants, Roster Submission). The move to online registration is Football Saskatchewan's commitment to improving all services to its membership through this initiative. The first time the online registration is used, all of your contact information must be filled in. After that, a member can use the username & password they have created to access and update their profile, and renew memberships for following years. Payment options will include credit card and online banking, but will still have cheque or cash payment options. If you experience any problems in registering online, please emailBrian Guebert and he will look into it with you.

The National Football league today launched its annual search for coaches who have positively impacted young Canadians.
The NFL Youth Coach of the Year award, now in its 13th year, is designed to recognize community or high school level coaches across Canada who dedicate themselves to the development of young players both on and off the field.
“We encourage anyone who knows a selfless volunteer football coach to visit NFLcoachoftheyear.ca and nominate them for recognition,” said Dan Quinn, Managing Director, NFL Canada. “This award does not recognize wins and losses. It recognizes the positive impact volunteer coaches can have on young players and their communities.”Over the past 12 years the program has contributed more than $150,000 in equipment and facility upgrades to deserving programs. Any Canadian can nominate a coach for recognition.

Proceeds from the sale of educational resources sold by Football Canada will be invested back into amateur football at both the national and provincial level.

Football Canda Women's National Team
The 2013 National Women’s Football Team Head Coach, Offense and Defense Coordinators have been announced. The International Federation of American Football has set 2013 for the next Women’s World Football Championship (location yet to be determined).
François Bougie from Montreal, QC has been named the head coach. A veteran to the international football scene, he was the head coach of the national women’s flag football team in 2008 and 2010 as well as the offensive line coach with the 2010 national tackle women’s team.
Jeff Yausie from Saskatoon, SK named the Defensive Coordinator. Jeff most recently led the Saskatoon Valkyries of the Western Women’s Canadian Football League to their first league title in their inaugural season. He has been a coach with the legendary Saskatoon Hilltops of the Canadian Junior Football League since 2002.
